The Diploma of Beauty Therapy is the recommended qualification for aspiring Beauty Therapist. This nationally recognised qualification enables graduates to gain a high level of competency in a wide
range of beauty treatments. The Diploma of Beauty Therapy has outstanding employment outcomes with positions available world
wide for graduates of this course.

Distance Education Study Mode
The Diploma of Beauty Therapy is available in distance education mode only.
This mode of study requires you to complete all theory units on a scheduled timetable from home and all practical units in intensive mode at one of our campuses in Melbourne and Bairnsdale or at our partner college, Gold Coast Training Academy, at their Coolangatta/ Tweed campus or occasionally,
Burleigh Heads Campus.

Our intensive blocks occur twice per year. These compulsory units will take
place Monday to Saturday from 8:30am – 5:00pm for either two or three
week blocks.

Accommodation
Melbourne. The Grenadi School of Beauty Melbourne campus is located
in the central business district. Melbourne is renowned for culture, cafes,
sport and entertainment. There are many forms of student accommodation
within walking distance of the campus.

Bairnsdale. The Grenadi School of Beauty Bairnsdale campus is located
in East Gippsland. Surrounded by ocean, lakes, rivers and the famous high
country makes East Gippsland a beautiful place to visit. Accommodation
within a short walk of the Bairnsdale campus is readily available.

Gold Coast. Gold Coast Training Academy's campuses are situated
on the southern end of Queensland's popular Gold Coast. The
Coolangatta/Tweed Campus is only 100m from beautiful Greenmount
Beach and accommodation is commonly available at reasonable prices
throughout this region.

Additional Requirements

  • Industry Placement Hours - During your course you will be required to gain industry placement with a quality beauty salon or day spa. You will be required to find an organisation in your local region.

  • Student Salon Experience - As part of gaining confidence, refining and practising skills students are required to complete 80 hours additional experience to refine your skills and prove your competency.

  • First Aid - As part of becoming a qualified beauty therapist you will be required to gain
    a First Aid Certification at your own expense in your local region.
